The LFFFE is a non-profit (EIN# 83-2783705) committed to the values that seek to strengthen our community, by providing financial aid, engaging in acts of goodwill, and building coalitions with other like-minded groups.
An Antioch-native, Mark Libbey has spent his career as an educator and coach in East County. Mark believes that investing in today's youth strengthens the community in both the present and the future, and sees LFFFE as a vital part of that process.
As a long-time resident of East County, John has always looked for ways to give back to the community. He has a passion for education and enthusiastically took the opportunity to be on the LFFFE Board. He sees LFFFE as a way to recognize hard-working and deserving students.
Rod Libbey has a strong background in managing non-profits, and has worked in the healthcare field for 40 years. He hopes his experience in healthcare and his support for education at all levels will help drive the LFFFE forward.
Kathi Libbey has been an administrator and educator in AUSD since 2005, and believes that supporting students both in and out of the classroom increases their chances for success in life. She sees her role with LFFFE as an extension of her lifelong involvement in community volunteerism.
Dalena Ong is a 2020 graduate from Dozier-Libbey Medical High School and current Biological Sciences major at the University of California, Davis. With a background in volunteering, she is passionate about helping and supporting the community through LFFFE.
Raised in Antioch, Alexia DelaTorre Ramirez graduated from Dozier-Libbey Medical High School and is currently a student at CSU Long Beach. She is actively volunteering at St. Ignatius Church and is also enrolled in the APD Cadet Program to further her career.
John Mixon is a life-long resident of East County. He has been active in coaching youth sports as well working with students in Antioch with One Day at A Time. John shares his skills and passion to help give kids a brighter future.
